Construction Kit bridges

Whilst all construction kits can be used to build simple bridges, not all are good at building larger models of bridges, such as those shown below. Lego, for instance, generally falls apart when big bridges are attempted, because Lego bricks need to be under compression (ie pushed tightly together) at all times to create a strong joint. The best construction kits we have found for bridges are Meccano and K'NEX.
