Hint G4 - Strong 3-D structures

Geomag rods and spheres can also be used to build quite strong 3-D structures, but as with Hint G3 (Strong 2-D shapes), we would recommend using using triangles whenever possible in the design.

The photo shows a bridge built using triangles. Try building both this bridge, and a similar-sized bridge using squares, to see just how much different triangles make.		Hint G4 - Strong 3-D structures
Hint G4b An alternative approach is to use panels to add strength to a Geomag 3-D structure. The photo shows a castle in which each square is reinforced with a panel, which stops the square going out of shape.
